The application deadlines for Individual business sold OFF the health insurance exchange have been extended. The deadline extension applies only to off-exchange applications for January 1 and February 1, 2016 coverage effective dates:
- For a January 1 effective date, applicants now have until December 31, 2015 to apply.
- For a February 1 effective date, applicants now have until January 31, 2016 to apply.
To be made effective, enrollment applications must be complete and they must include the initial premium payment.
While coverage will be effective on the dates above, be aware that member ID cards could be delayed.
