Certification is just around the corner. Here are some important dates and details for AHIP, Anthem, and United Healthcare.
AHIP: Certification available June 22, 2015
America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) certification, and AHIP re-certification, will be accepted in place of 2016 Medicare Basics, 2016 Medicare Advantage Plans, and 2016 Medicare Part D Plans.

Anthem: Certification available July 1, 2015
Certify early and get started selling Anthem’s Medicare Advantage and Part D products sooner rather than later.

United Healthcare: Certification Available July 1, 2015
If you are not certifying through AHIP, more information will be provided at a later date.
UnitedHealthcare will be launching its 2016 certification courses early this year – Agents should plan to check the UHC Distribution Portal to ensure all licenses and appointments are in order.
UHC will accept new and re-certifications for AHIP. To transfer credits, you must visit the Learning Center on the UHC Distribution Portal. If you access the UHC Distribution portal on or after July 1, you will be eligible for a $50 discount on AHIP courses offered by UnitedHealthcare.
