Producers must review all contracts in SureLC before submitting to Carriers
What You Need To Know:
-ALL carriers within SureLC require the producer to review contracting paperwork prior to the producer’s signatures being affixed to the PDF forms.
-Up until 4/3/2015, there were 70 or so carriers that had the required review process enabled, but SuranceBay subsequently updated all 450 carriers to require review by the produce.
-Only producers can review the contracting paperwork.
-Producers can review carrier paperwork at any time.
-From a Compliance and Legal perspective, this move is designed to combat fraud, CYA for the producer, the agency, the carrier, as well as SuranceBay.
