Five Steps to Establishing A Marketing Rhythm

1. Set goals for the year

If you do not put goals in place before you get started, you can get lost along the way with no plan and no way to measure your success.

2. Plan your primary campaigns (3-5 a year)

Campaigns should focus on products, services, brand values, or partnerships that help, educate, or connect with your target audience.

3. Be sure your campaigns align with your goals

Doing this will keep your goals in sight and make them easier to accomplish with the right actions to accompany them.

4. Start a basic content calendar for the year:

  • Holidays
  • Important Dates for your Business/Industry
  • Timelines of your campaigns

A calendar will keep all of your content organized and pre-planned out for the year so that it is easy to refer back to when it is time to blog, complete social media, ads, emails, and other marketing initiatives.

5. Plan quarterly summits for reviewing the previous quarter’s marketing and confirming the next quarter’s marketing

We recommend always looking back to reflect before the next quarter to see what worked and what didn’t for your company. With those reflections in mind, you can then strategically plan for the next quarter. This is also a good time to make sure your goals still align with your overall business plan as things can change throughout the year.

Set goals, Plan, Execute, Measure… Repeat!
