Transitional relief is set to end as transitional relief customers renew in 2017. To maximize the time our shared customers can keep their pre-Affordable Care Act plan, we are notifying them by letter that they may move their effective date to Jan. 1, 2017 to take advantage of the full year allowance.
The attached sample letter and attestation form will mail to affected customers between Nov. 16 and Nov. 21, 2016. In the letter, customers have been requested to call you or to call UnitedHealthcare to take advantage of the full year allowance.
