To continue our series on getting to know the faces behind AgentLink, we want to introduce you to one of our Medicare Representatives, Brittney Walcott. She is the lovely lady sporting the Bob Marley-inspired wig in the left hand side of the photo! She started with AgentLink 3-and-a-half years ago in the Individual Department and then later moved into Medicare.
What is the Role of a Medicare Rep?
You may be curious of what a Medicare Representative’s daily duties look like here at AgentLink. We are eager to share exactly what Brittney does on a daily basis and some personal fun facts so you can get to know her better. Like so many of our team members, she values the family environment that we strive to maintain in our office. In Brittney’s opinion, it is our top strength as a company.
As a Medicare Representative, Brittney assists brokers with pre-enrollment questions and materials needed to conduct appointments with their clients. She makes sure our Agents are happy and handles customer service issues that may arise. This includes speaking with Agents like YOU on the phone and via email to ensure that you’re always satisfied with our services at AgentLink.
Additionally, Brittney is the middle man between an agent and the insurance company. So, if the agent needs an ID card or has questions about how a claim was filled, she calls them and gets the answers they need. This allows Agents to focus on selling and not spending time on hold with carriers.
Fun Facts about Brittney
In her free time, Brittney practices massage therapy. Currently she is only practicing on her family members, but before her position at AgentLink, she worked as an esthetician at a plastic surgeon’s office. Her and her husband will be married 4 years this April. On the weekends you can probably find her watching the Lakers on a big screen or attending a University of Louisville sporting event. Her favorite snack to enjoy while she watches her favorite teams is nachos- but she would rather be at home watching from the comfort of her home and playing with her 8-year-old boxer, Laila.
