Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield is offering this fantastic “New to Medicare Discount” for Indiana Medicare Supplement applicants. Qualified applicants will receive $20 off their monthly premium for the first 12 months of their policy – for a savings of $240. Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
- Be age 65 or older as of January 1, 2016
- Enroll in Anthem’s Medicare Supplement Plan F;
- Have coverage effective date of January 1, 2016, or after
- Coverage effective date must be within 6 mo of their Medicare Part B effective date.
Taking advantage of all discounts can provide substantial savings for your clients! Sign clients up for electronic funds transfer (EFT), annual payment, and the household discount – combine these discounts with the New to Medicare Discount to save your clients even more. Commissions are calculated before any discounts are applied to the premium.
Retroactive discounts are not available for coverage effective dates prior to January 1, 2016.
